Current DVD News:

  • Opeth - On September 21st, Opeth are set to release the new In Live Concert At The Royal Albert Hall DVD, which captures a performance recorded on April 5, 2010, at the Royal Albert Hall, in celebration of their 20th anniversary. The DVD includes two sets, the first consisting of their breakthrough 2000 album, Blackwater Park, performed in its entirety, and a second featuring a selection of material from the rest of their extensive catalogue.

  • Megadeth - On March 31st, 2010, at the Hollywood Palladium, Megadeth performed their landmark, 1990, Rust In Peace album in its entirety, along with several other Megadeth classics, and recorded the amazing show for DVD. Rust In Peace Live is scheduled for release on September 7th, and it also marks the return of original bassist Dave Ellefson to the band after an eight year absence.

  • Judas Priest - The recently released 30th Anniversary Edition of their legendary British Steel album includes a bonus DVD of a 16-song concert performance that was filmed in 2009 at the Seminole Hard Rock Arena in Hollywood, Florida, which featured the entire British Steel album played in sequence along with several other Priest classics. A 30-minute The Making of British Steel interview with all four original band members is also included.

  • U2 - U2 - 360 At The Rose Bowl captures the band's record breaking concert in front of 97,000 fans during last year's U2360 tour in support of their Grammy-nominated album No Line on The Horizon. The DVD and Blu-ray were recently released this June.

  • Porcupine Tree The long awaited Anesthetize concert DVD was finally released this July on both DVD and a special Blu-ray + DVD edition. The Amazing DVD captures the band during their Fear Of A Blank Planet tour of 2008, where they performed that entire album from start to finish,

  • Bon Jovi - Live At Madison Square Garden was filmed on July 15th 2008 during the band's Lost Highway tour and will finally be released on DVD and Blu-ray in the U.S, and Canada on May 11th, 2010.

  • Jeff Beck The deluxe limited edition of Jeff Becks Emotion & Commotion, available at Best Buy, features a bonus DVD of live performances from his 2007 Crossroads Guitar Festival appearance. Included are killer performances of "Stratus," "Behind The Veil," "Nadia," "Big Block," Brush With Blues," and "Day In The Life," which makes it a must have for Beck fans since only "Big Block" and "Cause We've Ended As Lovers" made it on the Crossroads Guitar Festival DVD.

  • Extreme Take Us Alive was released on May 4th and is the first concert DVD from these reformed Boston rockers. It is a good one too!

  • Alan Parsons Alan Parsons recently released his first ever live concert DVD, Eye 2 Eye - Live In Madrid, on April 6th, and it features such Alan Parsons Project classics as "I Robot," "I Wouldn't Want To Be Like You," "Games People Play," "Eye In the Sky," and more.

  • Yoso - Yoso is the new "supergroup" featuring vocalist Bobby Kimball (ex-Toto), keyboardist Tony Kaye (ex-Yes), Billy Sherwood (ex-Yes), guitarist Jimmy Haun (Circa) and drummer Jody Cortez. The band plans to produce an album of new music as well as a live DVD, which will be released in mid 2010.

  • King's X - According to http://www.kingsxrocks.com/, the Live In London concert DVD, recorded during the band's January 2009 performance at London's Electric Ballroom, is now in the final production stages, and an official release date will be announced soon.
